lymphatic dysfunction

LymphLAB® developed Mailloux Method Lymph Drainage MMLD® therapy, bringing a functional application of lymphology directly to patient care. Based on our Interstitial • exchAnge • Matrix IAM® protocols, reduced neuroinflammation of the brain and spine is sustained.

LymphLAB® is the first clinic in the US to incorporate lymphology into neurodegenerative and neuromotor recovery. Our work in neurolymphtics began in 1995, successfully treating patients with hydrocephalus and other intracranial pressure dysfunctions.

Evaluating the integrity of lymphatic anatomy and physiology during patient assessment is not alternative or complimentary medicine, but rather medicine. Our NeuroLymphatic Lecture Series will illuminate your lymphology assessment skills and advance patient outcomes.

NeuroLymphatic EVALUATION

lymphology ASSESSMENT

Lymph maintains and protects the internal fluid environment of the ENTIRE body. Given the average human container holds 8+ liters of lymph and is comprised of 50-70% fluid, the power of the lymphatic system + glymphatic function can no longer be dismissed. The time is NOW for lymphology to be understood and incorporated as a standard of care in medicine.

Due to the vast intricacies of fluid + tissue dynamics, damaged tissue and compromised function can present in variable combinations of misleading mystery symptoms throughout the body, including neuromotor dysfunction and neurodegeneration. Management of the blood-brain barrier through regulation of glymphatic + lymphatic drainage pathways reduces neuroinflammation in the central nervous system.

lymphology EXPERTISE

As providers, we have a responsibility to understand the human body in entirety and what each system is capable of. Let’s get this right!

With 2 decades in anatomic pathology laboratory medicine and 3 decades in lymphology providing direct patient care, our precise approach to solution-based medicine is comprehensive.

Rehabilitative care will advance when the lymphatic system and its dynamic relationship with cerebrospinal fluid, organ function, and tissue integrity are considered during patient assessment and diagnostic evaluation.

“Until lymphology evaluation and tissue texture assessment are incorporated into medical education, specialty training is required. To omit the anatomy and physiology of the lymphatic system while evaluating diagnostic and surgical considerations is to provide incomplete patient care.”
