Spiritual Instruction
I dedicated myself to my spiritual path on March 21, 1987 - over twenty-one years ago at this writing - and have taught spirituality for the last fifteen years. My journey took me around the spiritual globe and found me under the guidance of simply amazing teachers including a Native American (Mi'kmaq) woman who trained me as a shaman and an old Roma ("Gypsy") crone who taught me the traditional folklore and myticism that had been handed down by her mother and grandmother before her. I've studied ancient text and cutting edge journals, considered the perspectives and wisdom of Rabbis, priests, modern prophets, and New Age mystics. Traveling from West to East and back again, I searched for the truth and wisdom found not only in established religions, but directly from the natural world.
What I found, I teach. No dogma. No doctrine. Just wisdom and love, a path the offers power and love in equal amounts, one typically intertwining with the other.
I teach workshops in bookstores around the area, in private homes, and work one-on-one with individuals and spiritual seekers. In early 2009, I'll be hitting the road and teaching classes from coast to coast. If you would like to study with me, please feel free to drop me a line through our contact page. Like everything else, our prices for spiritual instruction are as low as we can make them. I typically charge $40 for a private session (typically running between 60 to 90 minutes) and $10 per person for group sessions. A portion of my current class schedule is below.
The Unpaved Path series is receiving tremendous response. Imagine connecting with psychic abilities in an hour and finding a complete understanding of reality by the end of the course. How do you tell if a dream "means something" or if it's "just a dream"? And if it is more than just a dream, how do you begin to intrepet what it means? In this class, a trained shaman will take you through the process of dream interpretation, from determining if your dream holds insight or wisdom to buliding your own unique encyclopedia of dream symbols. We'll look at the process of dreaming, how indiginous peoples around the world view the Dreamtime, and how consciously use your dreams to gain answers to your own life's questions.

What is shamanism? A shaman is a spiritual "jack of all trades" - equal parts healer, mystic, counselor, historian, and diviner. An integral part of early tribal society, a shaman's skills and approach to living have strong applications in our modern lives. In this class we'll begin to explore the concepts of what shamanism is, learn how a shamanism sees the world, and consider our reality from a holistic, rather than linear perspective. You'll learn the importance of community, how to see life as a teacher, and learn the initial techniques required to see beyond the "every day" and begin to explore the spiritual landscape through a shaman's eyes.

If you say, "Let's contact the spirit world," people immediately get the heebie jeebies or look like you're more than a little off. From a shaman's perspective, each living thing is not only a spirit, but part of a vast spiritual ecosystem. A shaman not only honors these spirits as part of his family and community, but develops the abilities to learn and gain insight into obstacles and challenges directly from the spirit world. Expanding upon the concepts learned in the first two classes, we experience first hand what it's like to be a shaman. We'll consider the concept of ritual and how it's an integral part of both a shaman's spiritual beliefs and the health of the community. Students will be taught the basics principles behind a shaman's approach to healing. Case studies will be presented to the class and student's will be given the opportunity to find solutions to the presented challenges based on a shaman's perspective.

You've probably never told anyone else, but you have abilities that you know are there, you just don't know how to connect with them. Until now. Within a single hour, you'll connect with spiritual energy, learning to sense it, move it, receive it and read it. In this, the first class in a five part series, you will be given the keys to unlock an entirely new level of existance. There's nothing mystical about this process - although the abilities and perspective that it unlocks are often attributed to mystics. This process doesn't involve chanting, trance work, or meditation. It does not require you to develop a new system of belief or change the smallest portion of how you live. The abilities are instinctive and natural, nothing more than a part of who we are. We've simply forgotten they're there.

There are three key levels to reality, categories that explain every mystical phenomena and that place everything from mathematics to miracles in their proper context. What's more is that understanding the connection between these levels represents a good portion of the key to accessing the abilities and wisdom that each level represents.
In this class we'll look at the various levels of reality and practice exercises that will allow us to actually experience each level of reality within the timeframe of this class. We'll look at life and extended reality from an entirely new perspective, one without contradiction that sythesizes all of existence into a seamless whole. Additionally, we'll discover our place within the flow of greater reality and realize that each of us is here for a vital purpose that encourages us to embrace diversity and be proud of our own unique calling.

We'll embrace one simple truth within the scope of this class - there is only love. Even fear, which is where every "negative" emotion stems from, is simply a byproduct of us attempting to keep love at bay. The secret is that love isn't just an emotion; love is the very fabric of the Divine. As such, the more we open to love, the more power we embrace - power that allows us to heal ourselves, manifest intense psychic abilities, and begin to take work with the very weave of reality. In this class, we'll look at how the tools and perspective we've embraced so far allow us to depower fear and release its hold on us. We'll learn how to embrace love, simply through an understanding of reality and our place in it. And we will learn two new abilities that will allow us to begin to exert control over our own emotional landscape and allow us to consciously begin to heal, let go of our fear, and embrace love in every area of our lives.

In the previous three classes, we've seen that reality is much bigger than we've ever imagined and we found our place within that weave. We discovered and practiced powers and abilities that we never dreamed were already at our fingertips. Not only did we open ourselves to love, but we began to release the hold that fear has on us, allowing Divine power to flow through us and fill every aspect of our lives.
Now it's time to begin to explore.
Standing in the doorway with the vastness of reality before us, we realize that we have the ability to become explorers, to directly interact with and learn from the Divine and the entire spiritual ecosystem. Building on skills that we've learned to this point, we'll learn to travel the spiritual realms, listen to the interaction of Spirit within our own lives, and begin to see past the concrete structure of the physical to perceive the vastness of existence that awaits, not beyond the boundaries of this lifetime, but in every moment, in every breath.

In four short classes, we've taken the steps to embrace the fullness of who we are as spiritual beings living life from a physical perspective. Now it's time to take the next step and learn how and when to interact directly with the fabric of reality.
We learn a new language in this class, symbolism, the form of communication used by the spirit world that appears in everything from dreams to traffic signs, from mystical ceremonies to casual phrases in English. Symbolism isn't just a visual representation of a concept, but is what we refer to as the language of energy. In this class we'll learn to unlock the power of symbolism, how to use it to influence the very weave of reality, and how to use it to empower our own path and calling. What's more is that we'll learn how to do this appropriately, maintaining our balance with the Divine, not overstepping our bounds, but embracing our true calling as spiritual beings living life from a physical perspective.
